On March 4, Anderson University will host an International Women’s Day Dinner. This AU American Association for University Women (AAUW) initiative will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the lobby of Reardon Auditorium, and is open to both the AU campus and the Anderson community.

The dinner will focus on the 2019 campaign theme #BalanceforBetter, calling for a more gender-balanced world. The keynote speaker for the evening will be Jill Eicher, former Colts cheerleader, boutique owner, and lifeline nurse. She plans to discuss her experiences with balancing a successful business alongside her faith, family, and community.

“I am excited to share my personal story and hope the women in attendance realize all our stories are different, but they all matter,” said Eicher.

“Our event promises to be a wonderful evening of sharing stories together of life and balance with an amazing group of women,” said Dr. Marie Morris, provost. “Jill, like many women, has had to find a way to balance all of the roles in her life. I look forward to hearing about her pursuit for a life of impact.”

The cost of the dinner is $10 per person, with a discount of $5 for students. Attendees can register online at: anderson.edu/womens-day
